SUMMARY:Adventsbön / Advent prayer
DESCRIPTION:Just nu känns världen som en mörk och desperat plats\, men vi har ett hopp och en glädje i kunskapen om Kristus. Så denna advent\, medan vi förbereder oss att fira Kristi födelse och väntar med förväntan på hans återkomst påminns vi om att Jesus är ”ljuset som har kommit in till världen” (Joh 12:46). Att ”ljuset lyser i mörkret\, och mörkret har inte övervunnit det.” (Joh 1:5).  \nVi fokuserar på att Jesus\, världens ljus\, kommer till jorden i mänsklig form och vi söker ödmjukt hans rike här på jorden – genom bön\, mission och rättvisa – så att vi kan lysa med Kristi ljus för andra i samhället. \nUnder två dygn\, från fredag 1 december kl 18 till söndag 3 december kl 18 bjuder vi dig att vara med och delta i en kedja av oavbrutet bön under dagtid. \nVi ber på plats i bönerummet i församlingslokalen. Du bokar din tid via bokningslänken nedan och väljer själv vid bokningen om du vill be enskilt eller lämna det öppet för andra att vara med samtidigt.  \nBönerummet inreds på ett sätt som bjuder in och inspirerar till kreativ bön. I rummet finns också flera tips på hur en timme av bön skulle kunna se ut ifall du önskar.  \nVi vågar lova att för dig som är med och ber blir detta en väldigt vacker och speciellt tid i Guds närvaro. \nBoka en eller flera timmar HÄR. \n………………… \nRight now the world feels like a dark and desperate place\, but we have a hope and a joy in the knowledge of Christ. So this advent\, as we prepare ourselves to celebrate Christ’s birth\, and wait in anticipation for his return we are reminded that Jesus is the ”light that has come into the world” (John 12:46). That ”the light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). \nWe are focusing on Jesus\, the light of the world\, coming to earth in human form\, and humbly seeking His kingdom here on earth\, through prayer\, mission and justice\, so that we might shine the light of Christ to others in our communities. \nDuring two days\, from Friday 1 December\, 6pm until Sunday 3 December\, 6pm we invite you to join us in a continuous chain of prayer during the daytime. \nWe will pray in our prayer room\, in our church venue. You book a prayer time via the booking link below\, and select whether you would like to pray alone or with an option for others to join you. \nOur prayer room is prepared in a way that invites and inspires creative prayer.
