Bible School – Discovering the Bible

Welcome to our Autumn Bible School group ”Discovering the Bible”.
During 5 Sunday sessions during Autumn, we’re going to meet to learn more about the bible, and specifically the Gospel of Mark.
These sessions are beautifully aimed at those who maybe aren’t so used to the Bible, maybe you haven’t really read it so much, or never at all. Maybe you’ve read it a few times but would really like to understand better what it’s about and how to read it!
Session Overview
10/9: ’The grand story’; Mark 1-3
8/10: ’Compiling a canon’; Mark 4-6
22/10: ’Interpretation 101’; Mark 7-9
5/11: Mark 10-12
19/11: Mark 13-16
Although we have scheduled three chapters for each session the main point is not to finish all the chapters, but to read the different passages together and discuss them. An important part of the course is to give plenty of time for all sorts of questions regarding the text that pop up during the reading.
